MORTIIS remixes I:SCINTILLA

From Side-Line Magazine:

brittany from i:scintillaNorway's legendary eccentric artist Mortiis recently completed a remix for industrial metal band I:scintilla. The remixed track, which has been dubbed "Havestar (La Malediction Mix)", is planned to be featured on the band's upcoming album. The news was broken by the official Mortiis website and by Blabbermouth.net, Roadrunner Records's online magazine. Illinois-based quartet I:scintilla recently signed to the Alfa Matrix label where it is expected to release a first EPCD "Havestar" in August. Fronted by the female singer Brittany Bindrim, the band's previous material has been compared to such bands as Garbage, Evanescence and Theatre Of Tragedy. But we stick to the description of a combination of hard-edged industro goth, crunchy guitars, intense female vox spiced with electro layers. The band's EP "Havestar" holds 4 new songs plus 5 bonus club mixes by bands like Combichrist, Klutae, Implant, Diskonnekted and Neikka RPM.

PALE MUSIC INTERNATIONAL and SAW RECORDINGS

Two more phenomenal labels have joined the KGD army!

the scandalsPale Music International - home of The Scandals and Punx Soundcheck, this electro label stomps their way onto the battlefield anihilating dancefloor cliché everywhere. To quote label boss Steve Morell: "The commercial ways of Techno made you stupid, but Punk and the electronic way of Rock 'n' Roll make us proud!"

Saw Recordings - Legendary DJ Satoshi Tomiie's own label! "SAW is one of the names of the sound wave (Sine, Square, Triangle and so on). These are used by various kinds of electronic music producers regardless of the style; most of them use and tweak these waveforms to compose music. Regardless of the style, SAW.RECORDINGS would like to introduce quality music to the music scene. We also would like to be a tool for DJ's (as SAW)." states Tomiie.

TAMTRUM and ANOREXIA NERVOSA

tamtrum - elektronic blakc messAs taken from Blabbermouth.net:

Former ANOREXIA NERVOSA Singer To Guest On New TAMTRUM Album - May 1, 2006

Rose Hreidmarr, former frontman of the cult French black metal band ANOREXIA NERVOSA, has been recording guest vocals for the brand new album "Elektronic Blakc Mess" (the misspelling is intentional) by the French harsh black electro act TAMTRUM.

Coming from the French region Aix-en-Provence, TAMTRUM is rooted in black metal and brings what a journalist has described as "frontal sex, drugs'n industrial attitude." "Elektronic Blakc Mess" is the second album from the trio following the success of their debut, "Some Atomik Songz". Scoring internationally in clubs with leaked versions of the new tracks "Abort The Pope", "Paranoïak, Hypokondriak and Toxicomaniak" and "Pervert Inc.", TAMTRUM got picked up by the Belgian company Alfa Matrix, the leading label in harsh electro and home to such mega-selling bands as FRONT 242, KLUTAE, LEAETHER STRIP and many more. Alfa Matrix has started online pre-sales for a deluxe carton box two-CD edition of the album, strictly limited to just 666 copies (!!!) and available now at www.alfa-matrix.com for online purchase. This limited edition comes with a 10-track bonus disc containing special unreleased tracks, including a "crunchy" collaboration with PUNISH YOURSELF and other remixes by the harsh electro artists COMBICHRIST, UNTER NULL, GRENDEL, etc. Also included are two live videos, a pin, a Vatican-approved condom (you have to see it to believe it!) and other photos.
