Legendary German industrial label Out Of Line and iconic NYC deep house n' dub label Wave Music have joined the KGD Media roster! Rivetheads the world over know that Out Of Line is the home to some of the greatest and most well known artists within the industrial scene. Some of these artists include Norwegian sensation Combichrist (the newest band from Andy LaPlegua, ex-Icon Of Coil/Panzer AG/Scandy), Hocico, Blutengel, God Module and Spetsnaz. KGD also has the honor of distributing their partners for the States: Mach XX, Masterhit Recordings and Fear Section. Current offerings from these labels include: Northborne, Cinderella Effect and Thora.

On the flip side comes Francois K.'s Wave Music. Says Wave: "Wave Music was started in 1995 as a means to release cutting-edge but timeless music that doesn't necessarily fit the norm of what most people come to expect of a New York 'dance' indie label. Rather than concentrating on a specific style, the label's mission has been to bring out an eclectic and musically varied selection of music. Through its association with some of dance music's finest artists, producers and DJ's, Wave has in the span of a short few years achieved a reputation for excellence and innovation in this crowded field." This couldn't be truer and with such dynamic releases from not only FK but also from New York's dubby tech house beatmaker Beat Pharmacy and Philly's deep and soulful King Britt. KGD will also carry Wave's partner Chez as well as the imprints WaveTec and Deep Space.

Beautiful people and excellent music come together as Italy's Helalyn Flowers, the project duo of Max and singer N0emi. With two self-produced singles ("Disconnection" and "E-Race Generation") under their belt, Helalyn Flowers were instantly noticed by such magazines as Italy's famous rock/metal magazine Flash, Britain's Kaleidoscope and Germany’s Sonic Seducer magazine. Subsequently, Alfa Matrix's own A&R Seba Dolimont offered the band a contract. Out this summer in the US is the band's label debut EP Plaestik which will be released as a limited edition DJ boxset. So what do they actually sound like? Well, we had the chance to listen to the full EP and got a rich cocktail of Goth Rock, Industrial, Alternative, Dark Electronic Downbeat and Pop. Both members have dabbled in the past with nu-metal but threw that to the wayside in 2004 to give birth to a more electro infested sound. In addition, Plaestik comes as a delicious starter before the main course: their full-length album A Voluntary Coincidence coming soon. Helalyn Flowers is therefore possibly one of the hottest signings by Alfa Matrix this year!
